From a blank page to a record that stands up.
Know exactly how your industry should work, and need the software to prove it? Integrated Tailings Solutions had a clear view of how mines should manage tailings dam risk, and no product yet. We took it live as one team, owning every step from analysis to production.

An idea the mining sector needed
Tailings dams hold what's left after minerals are taken out of the ore, and they need constant attention: water, pressure, movement, seepage. The global tailings standard sets out what responsible operation looks like, from continuous monitoring to clear accountability.
They knew this field deeply and had formed a clear view of how mines should manage that risk day to day. They set out to turn it into a product the whole sector could use.
They had the expertise, and they needed a team to turn it into software.
A standard that asks for proof
In tailings, getting the logic wrong isn't a cosmetic problem. The standard expects every concern to be spotted, escalated to whoever is responsible and acted on, with evidence to show it. A product in this field is only as good as that evidence, and the evidence has to stand up when someone asks to see it, months or years later.
A record nobody can rewrite
Software in this field has one job above all others: its history has to be trusted. If a later change could quietly alter what last year's records mean, the evidence would be worth nothing.
So we made the record the foundation of the design and built everything else around it. Whatever changes, what was measured and what was done about it stays true.
A blank page can say anything. This record shows what really happened.
How we built it
We owned the whole build. These are the principles behind it.
Agreed before it was built
In a field this exacting, the expensive mistakes are made in the logic, long before anyone writes code. So we started with business analysis and design, worked the requirements through with their team until they signed them off, and only then began the build. That up-front work is what let a focused team build it without detours.
One team with their specialists
Their specialists were part of the work from the first workshop to the final acceptance round. They knew the field; we knew how to turn it into software that holds up, and nothing moved forward without their agreement.
Their expertise, built into the logic
Their specialists know how risk really develops at a tailings dam. We turned that knowledge into the logic of the product, so the software thinks about risk the way they do.
Built for the whole sector
No two mines are organised the same, so we built it to serve the whole sector, with a structure that adapts to how each business already works.
A team shaped to the work
The thinking came first, when the questions were biggest. The build team that followed was deliberately focused, with project management, testing and DevOps alongside it from start to finish.
Tested with them before it went live
We delivered in two-week sprints, with a demo to their team at the end of each one, and prepared for production well ahead of launch day so going live was a planned step. Before go-live, they tested the full product with us in a formal acceptance round, where every issue was logged, fixed and checked again.
When someone asks for the evidence, it's there
When an auditor or a board asks what happened and why, the answer is already in the record, with the reason behind every decision.
A working product to take to the mining sector, built from their own idea.
Theirs to build on
They own the code, the designs and the requirements behind them. The product is theirs, and so is every decision that shaped it.
