Vehicles and loads always on the move?Software that keeps up at every stop.
Vehicles, loads and claims change hands all day, and every hand-off is where work slows down. We've built for nearly every stop, from the showroom floor to the border post, and we build alongside your team.
Where the work changes hands, it waits
A vehicle moves from the showroom to the inspection bay to the road. A load moves from the depot to the port to the border. Each time it passes to the next person, the next branch or the next company, someone checks a spreadsheet, makes a call or waits for a signature. Shipping even has a word for the cost of waiting: demurrage. Every business that moves things pays its own version of it.
“Where is that load right now?”
“Who signed off this inspection?”
“Phone the depot and find out.”
Your vehicles and loads keep moving, and every hand-off should move with them.
We've built software at nearly every stop on the route
Follow a vehicle, then a load. At each stop, there's work of ours keeping it moving.
The vehicle
- The showroom. BYD Sandton needed a dealership site that does justice to the range and turns a model page into a test drive. It went live 11 weeks after the scope was signed.
- The inspection bay and the fleet. After we took over their member app, Tiger Wheel & Tyre came back for two more products: an inspection app for staff in their branches and a fleet platform for corporate accounts. See the Tiger Wheel & Tyre story →
- The roadside. Liquid Capital wanted roadside help that works like a modern app. It now serves three motor brands from one platform. See the Liquid Capital story →
The load
- Freight. Loadpad is taking the paper out of freight, from order to payment on one platform. Our audit said the platform was worth keeping, and we've built on it ever since. See the Loadpad story →
- The port. A global maritime software group wanted a claims product nothing in its suite offered. Our team worked inside their process and built it from a blank page.
- The border. On a national road and border-post programme, Egis needed evidence an independent engineer would accept. Eight weeks after we joined, every supplier package was accepted at the gate.
What your software has to do at every stop
Every stop is different, but the same four things decide whether your software holds up at the hand-off.
- 01
Built for where the work happens. Your people work on a branch floor, in a truck cab or at the side of the road, so the software has to work there too.
- 02
Each party sees what it needs. Dealers, drivers, insurers, operators and counterparties each get their own view of the same record.
- 03
Changed while it runs. Your business doesn't stop for a release, so we ship in small, checked steps.
- 04
Built on what you already run. We connect to the systems you rely on and replace only what holds you back.
Start with the stop that hurts most
You don't need to fix the whole route at once. Pick one hand-off and we'll start there.
- 01
Tell us the stop. One conversation about where work waits and what it costs you.
- 02
We attach a team to yours. An experienced pod that works in your process, with your people, and builds the fix. It costs the same as outsourcing a single developer, and you only pay for the time you use.
- 03
Then the next stop. When the first hand-off runs on its own, we move down the route with you.
Already have a platform and not sure what it can carry?
What people ask us first.
Do you only work with logistics and automotive businesses?
No. We build for many industries, but the route on this page is real work, and the same team brings that experience to yours.
Can you work with the systems we already run?
Yes. We build on what you have and connect to it, and we only suggest replacing something when it's holding the rest back.
Do you build apps for drivers and branch staff, not only office users?
Yes. Apps for staff in branches and for customers at the roadside are both on the route above.
Someone else built our platform. Can you take it on?
Yes. We usually start with a code audit, so you know what you're building on before you spend on it. Loadpad and Liquid Capital both started with work another team had begun.
Who owns the software?
You do: the code, the designs and everything we build for you.
What does it look like when it works?
The load is signed for with the paperwork already done, the claim is worked out before anyone picks up the phone, and the driver at the roadside watches help on its way.
